Dear friend and fellow worker in this harvest,
On Memorial Day weekend, May 24-28th 2013, Act Out ministries plans to bring out into the open a dream that has been in the heart of many churches within Genesee County for years.  That dream is to band together with Christians in our neighboring areas to share our common love of Jesus Christ and to put on display the active and powerful gospel message.  We believe that the timing is perfect for the Body of Christ to come together in unity to bring the good news to the world outside of the walls of the church building and to help make ready the Bride of Jesus.  Together, bonding through passions and talents, uniting through our gifting and callings, followers of God make a force to be reckoned with.  We at present have the beginnings of a team of passionate lovers of Jesus, who have committed to praying that nothing would hinder the Church going into all the world on Memorial Day weekend, beginning with our own subdivisions, schools districts, cities and county. 
Our focus is to Love first, share the gospel of Jesus and salvation second, provide for needs whatever they may be to fortify our people, and to disciple them in follow-up.  Our strategy involves filling physical needs of people and continuing to minister to their emotional and spiritual needs once their primary concerns are met.   Our discipleship involves the idea that we must build relationship before attempting to teach and mature an individual, and our goal is to learn the heartbeat of each person we encounter.  The people who will come to our outreaches will have a need to be met, so some ministries are built around ministering to a physical need, and others to an emotional need (meeting them at their passion).  We have planned an outreach to various aspects of life: political, church life, family, gender specific, fine arts or entertainment- with every area pointing back to Jesus as the giver of abundant, joyful life.
We have enclosed a description of the ministries and outreaches planned, a tentative schedule and also a list of core beliefs from our organization.  After reading through our information packet, if you decide that the Perfect Storm outreach is something that your church’s members are able to partner with, please contact us.  We greatly anticipate being available as God makes his glory known in our county!!
